Granada, the tiled roof

Very nice drawing of Granada with, in the foreground, a tiled roof of a house in front of the Alhambra at the foot of the Sierra Nevada. This view is taken from the old Arab quarter of the Albaicin built opposite.

The eye moves with delight between all the shots and savours the detailed design of the tiles in front of the outline of the buildings of the Alhambra.

The curves of the fortress highlight the old roof, which seems to rise towards us before falling away to the right, like the dress of a gypsy dancing a flamenco.
