Superb drawing in Indian ink of the Arcachon beach of Les Abatilles at high tide inhabited by a few bathers. The geometric lines of the cabins, parasols, sailboats and pine trees contrast with the informal graphics of the dune, the sea and the clouds.
The S-shape of the beachside sinking into the center of the drawing with the pine forest overhanging on the right side and the immensities of the water surface and the sky delimited by the bottom of the pool on the left, create many perspectives that our gaze travels with pleasure.
Like the bather seen from behind in the foreground, we let ourselves be carried away by the graphic symphony that the artist conducts with his pen, where each element of this splendid landscape plays its own music.
